A problem shared...
Introducing: Conundrum Corner!
Share your thought-provoking challenges
As facilitators, theatre directors and drama teachers, we often find ourselves in intricate webs of creativity, collaboration, and unexpected twists. Our roles extend beyond running workshops, teaching performance techniques and blocking scenes; we’re orchestrators of transformation, guiding actors, students, or community members toward meaningful experiences. And yet this work can be isolating. We grapple with doubts, setbacks, and moments of vulnerability. But when we share our challenges, we contribute to the reservoir of collective knowledge. Each dilemma becomes a stepping stone for others, bridging gaps and illuminating blind spots.
So, let’s gather at Conundrum Corner.
Email conundrum@philosophicalfacilitator.com or use the message button below to send in your facilitation and directing questions, issues, and dilemmas. All submissions are welcome, from the mundane to the perplexing, all the way to the downright baffling. Contributions will be anonymised and names/locations changed where necessary.
I'll post a digest of replies once a month to offer whatever insight that I can. Together, we’ll untangle threads, weave possibilities, and celebrate the art of facilitation. Because when we share, we don’t just solve; we elevate our craft and illuminate the path for others.
